Good things for myself

I’m slowly learning to hear what my body is telling me. Not all the time, but I’m pretty happy about any signs of progress 🙂 This week I haven’t been feeling very energetic, which has to do with my monthly cycle and is perfectly fine… but I normally would have done either one of two extremes: 1) push myself, or 2) do nothing at all.

Pushing myself would mean going to Spinning class. Doing nothing… just didn’t feel right. So I ended up doing a Yoga class this morning, and I love the feeling of being gentle with myself. Will do another one tomorrow morning. Thanks to Greysheet and my HP, I get to do good things for myself. I’m learning this, because all I knew before was how to punish.
